I collaborated with my friend Sophia for the first time a few months ago. We devised a continuous linking system that would connect our related images together. These images take the form of cinemagraphs, a fairly newly created fusion of video and still photos. Such a medium questions the idea of time. The beginning and the end loop (as seamlessly as possible), just as it is possible to forever click through our collection of self-made cinemagraphs. Inspired by the film, Inception, the links are made up of words that perpetuate the dream-like, almost surreal images.
