“Light Memory” won the People’s Choice Award last night. Awards usually don’t mean much to me, since I just make work to share stories and make people feel good. I thought about it though and this one means a lot. Especially since there were plenty of great films shown.

In the end though, it’s not about the flash, or effects, or blood. The short, heartfelt, sweet stuff can take the cake too. Plus, all Arielle and I did was animate other peoples’ stories. It just shows everyone has a great story to tell. It just needs a couple of pictures that keep it moving.
